Career Opportunity: Access Control - Field Technician with Matrix Systems in Fort Lauderdale, FL

Current Openings:

• Shift openings at both Fort Lauderdale and Miami Airports
• Three shifts covering 24-7 contractual obligations
• Morning, Mid-day and Overnight shift opportunities available
• Schedule: 40 hours weekly with 1 weekend day per week

Matrix Systems, Acre security company, is an industry leader in access control and security management solutions, is seeking an Access Control Service Technician to service Fort Lauderdale (FLL) and Miami International (MIA) Airports.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience installing and/or servicing access control and alarm/security systems in commercial buildings
• Three years’ experience installing and/or servicing access control, fire, and CCTV security systems
• Ability to work on-call on a rotational basis covering after hours & weekend emergency calls
• Must be a self-starter and work well without supervision
• Solid mechanical and electrical aptitude with the ability to utilize multimeter
• Complete accurate and detailed service reports for customers and Matrix in a timely manner to allow for accurate invoices and job cost tracking.
• Exceptional proactive customer focus and ability to work under pressure

Requirements:

• Ability to pass a 10-year Homeland Security background check for access across airports
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Vocational/Technical Degree in electronics, security, or computer systems is a plus
• Ability to work in Microsoft Excel and NetSuite
• At least two years of wiring and terminating circuitry systems
• A valid state driver’s license, without restrictions
• Successful completion of drug screen
