Automotive/Diesel Mechanic : Candidate should have experience in all aspects of engine repair including electrical, diagnostics, brake systems, emissions, and general trouble shooting. A clean valid NYS driver’s license and ability to obtain CDL for bus driver license. Knowledge of DOT regulations for school buses is preferred, but not required. Minimum qualifications include: a) Associate’s degree in Automotive Technology; or, b) two (2) years of work experience, or its part- time equivalent, in the repair and maintenance of automotive equipment, specifically diesel engines; or, c) completion of a two (2) year vocational education program majoring in Automotive Technology and one (1) year of work experience.
Payroll Specialist: Candidate should have experience processing payroll, maintaining payroll systems, consolidating timesheet information and entering into databases, reviewing transactions, submitting monthly reports to state and federal agencies, attendance record keeping, and other duties as assigned. Minimum qualifications include: previous payroll experience preferred, detail oriented, excellent customer service skills, and a) Two (2) years of account keeping work experience or its part-time equivalent, the major job function of which is the maintenance of financial accounts, which must have included reconciling and posting to ledgers, journals and other accounting records; or, b) Successful completion of 12 semester credit hours in accounting or an associate's degree in accounting from a regionally accredited college or university or business school or one accredited by the New York State Board of regents to grant degrees; or, c) an equivalent combination of training and experience as defined by the limits of (A) and (B).
Custodial Worker I: Performs routine manual work involving building cleaning and general labor tasks. Does related work as required.
