The ideal candidate will bring a strategic and hands-on approach to managing farm functions, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, optimizing operational efficiency, and maintaining a high standard of animal welfare and facility integrity. Key Responsibilities: Operational Oversight Direct and coordinate all day-to-day farm activities across departments. Ensure operations meet regulatory, quality, and animal welfare standards. Supervise and schedule farm staff across multiple disciplines. Train team members, provide performance feedback, and foster interdepartmental collaboration. Manage budgets for all farm-related activities. Monitor operational costs, track revenue, and recommend strategies to improve cost-effectiveness and profitability. Assist with strategic planning and capital improvement initiatives. Record Keeping & Data Management Maintain accurate records for animal care, crop yields, equipment maintenance, and production activities. Input data into management systems to meet internal and regulatory compliance. Generate operational reports for performance and audit purposes. Facility & Equipment Management Oversee the safety, maintenance, and compliance of all buildings, infrastructure, and farm equipment. Coordinate construction projects, repairs, and upgrades as needed. Quality Assurance & Compliance Ensure all activities are conducted in accordance with SOPs and relevant regulatory guidelines (e.g., USDA, AAALAC). Monitor and maintain documentation to meet quality and traceability standards. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Animal Science, Business Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Minimum 5 years of farm or agricultural management experience, ideally in a production or regulated setting. Proven leadership and team management skills. Strong project management and budgeting experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with agricultural or production management software. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Practical knowledge of livestock care, crop production, and equipment maintenance is preferred. Working Conditions: Full-time, on-site role based in Everett, PA. Ability to work in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks. Occasional evening or weekend hours may be required based on operational demands.
