• PhD in Computer Science, AI/ML, or a related discipline , or an equivalent research record with strong publications.
• Demonstrated research impact , ideally supported by several hundred citations (400+ as a strong benchmark ).

Top-Tier Publication Record

• Steady history of publications at leading AI/ML conferences : NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, AAAI.
• And/or at NLP-focused venues : ACL, EMNLP, NAACL, COLING.
• Additional contributions in journals such as JMLR, TMLR, TPAMI .

Deep Expertise in Agentic AI and Related Fields

• Recent contributions in autonomous agents, planning, tool use, or multi-agent systems .
• Highly desirable expertise includes:
• Large Language Models (LLMs)
• Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
• Vision-Language Models (VLMs)
• Reinforcement Learning (RL)
• LLM Alignment & Safety

Technical & Leadership Skills

• Strong theoretical and conceptual foundation , with the ability to guide teams through complex scientific challenges .
• Proficiency in Python and major ML frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, JAX) for rapid prototyping and collaboration .
