Canyon Ranch Club in Fort Worth, Texas is hiring on-call Group Fitness instructors, to grow the team .

Responsibilities

WHAT WE ARE HIRING FOR

Our Group Fitness Instructors are responsible for instructing safe, educational and enjoyable fitness classes.

The ideal applicant has the ability to teach beginner to advanced group classes and will have experience in a variety of class and exercise modalities.

Responsibilities include:

• Provide Services: As the primary or instructor in class, you'll offer proper body alignment, modifications and supervision of fitness classes according to the Canyon Ranch and industry standards. You'll Plan routines, chooses appropriate music, and choose different movements/exercises depending on participants’ capabilities and limitations. Ensure and practices safe methods while instructing classes
• Program Development: Creates and participates in new classes, programs, and lectures to deliver fresh programming for guests and Canyon Ranch Colleagues.
• MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK SUNDAYS

Qualifications

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL

• Available to work early mornings, evenings and/or weekends
• CPR/AED/First Aid Certified within 90 days of hire
• Nationally recognized Group Fitness Certification (current)
• For Yoga Instructor: 3+ years instruction experience if offering Yoga privates/classes (200 hours or more)
• For Pilates or Barre Instructor: 3+ years instruction experience

AVAILABILITY: This is an on-call position. Work availability for evenings and weekends is highly preferred. SUNDAYS REQUIRED
