About the Role
The Company is seeking a Head of Data and Research to play a pivotal role in establishing the organization as a national leader in evidence-based insights and thought leadership. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive data and research strategy that is deeply connected to the real problems and solutions of the AANHPI community. This includes overseeing the creation of white papers, reports, and studies that capture the nuanced needs and experiences of the most diverse racial group in the country. The Head will also be tasked with impact evaluation, strategic learning, and ensuring that data is used to influence policy, philanthropy, and public discourse. As a senior leader, the role involves managing a high-performing team, collaborating across departments, and representing the organization in various research and public forums. Applicants for the Head of Data and Research position at the company should have a Master’s degree, with a Ph.D. strongly preferred, in a related field such as social sciences, data science, demography, public policy, or education. A minimum of 10 years' of relevant experience, including at least 5 years' in a senior leadership role, is required. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of research design, data analysis, and impact measurement, as well as a proven track record of leading complex research initiatives and high-performing teams. Strong skills in communication, strategic thinking, and a collaborative, mission-driven approach are essential. The role demands a candidate who is adept at managing multiple projects, is adaptable, and is committed to the purpose of the organization in creating a future where every AANHPI community can thrive.
