JOB DESCRIPTION:

Title: Janitor in a REFINERY Setting

LABOR INTENSIVE - JANITORIAL WORK

SCHEDULE (PART-TIME)

Monday - Friday

4PM-10PM

Weekends 

Alternating

Reports To: Manager

Key Responsibilities and duties:

Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness & safety of buildings.

Play crucial role in ensuring a healthy & productive work environment by:

• Removing debris
• Sanitizing
  • Offices
  • Breakrooms
  • Restrooms
• Adhering to strict safety protocols
• Cleaning and Dusting flat surface areas (tables, desks etc.)
• Sweeping daily
• Spot mopping daily
• Mop water to be disposed in designated mop water totes
• Cleaning of RESTROOMS & SHOWERS
• Refill paper towels, soap, and toilet paper daily
• Dust mop daily
• Must clean up trash around facility perimeter on a daily basis
• Walking from building to building

Qualifications:

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• MUST HAVE A VALID DL
• Great attendance and punctuality record.
• Have a sense of urgency in processing orders and able to work in a high stress work environment.
• Applicant may be subject to a background check
• Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
• High school graduate or GED preferred.
• Minimum of 1-year experience in the janitorial, cleaning or warehouse industry
• Have the ability to read and communicate in English
• Have a working knowledge of basic cleaning equipment
• Physical ability to lift and handle equipment up to 50 pounds
• Ability to manage time efficiently
• Maintain a professional image at all times
