Key Responsibilities
As a consultant, you’ll focus on deliverables :
· Design/optimize microscopy imaging systems using OTS components.
· Develop solutions for fluorescence/absorption photometric measurements.
· Perform optical/mechanical tolerance stack-up, sensitivity analysis, and Monte Carlo simulations (using Zemax).
· Ensure robustness against real-world variables.
· Prototype testing, performance validation, and troubleshooting of optical assemblies.
· Collaborate with mechanical engineers and third-party fabricators.
· Deliver a final report with simulation data, test results, and optimization recommendations.
Ideal Candidate Profile
We’re seeking a consultant with:
· Zemax/OpticStudio expertise (tolerance analysis, imaging design).
· Proven skill in microscopy imaging (fluorescence/absorption/photometrics).
· Fluency in tolerance stack-up/sensitivity analysis.
· Proficiency in Python/MATLAB for image processing/simulation.
· Experience with CAD tools (SolidWorks/ANSYS).
· Background in OTS component integration.
