Description We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Purchasing Assistant to join our team in Merced, California. Responsibilities: - Provide comprehensive administrative assistance to the Purchasing Director, ensuring smooth operations. - Communicate with vendors to gather necessary information, request documentation, and support supply chain tasks. - Assist in drafting and preparing contracts using pre-designed templates, ensuring accuracy and compliance with guidelines. - Execute established procurement procedures with a meticulous focus on detail and adherence to deadlines. - Maintain organized records of procurement activities, including contracts and vendor communications. - Collaborate with internal team members to support seamless workflow and efficient procurement processes. - Monitor deadlines for projects and tasks, ensuring timely completion without compromising quality. - Utilize office software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook to manage administrative tasks effectively.
