$175,000.00/yr - $225,000.00/yr

Commercial Litigation Attorney - Remote Chicago, IL

Law firm looking for a hardworking and exceptionally skilled Commercial Litigation Attorney with 4+ years of experience to join the firm's litigation group. This Commercial Litigation Attorney role offers professional growth and advancement opportunities in a collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will have solid courtroom and deposition experience, as well as day-to-day case responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research and analysis.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs and other documents.
• Pre-trial discovery, including taking and defending depositions.
• Prepare for and attend hearings, trials and mediations.
• Effectively communicate with clients, opposing counsel and court personnel.

Requirements

• Must be a member of the Illinois bar in good standing.
• 4+ years of commercial litigation experience.
• Excellent research, writing and analytical skills.
• Self-starter with ability to manage an active case load.
• Persuasive communication and advocacy skills.
