• Coordinate with host/hostess and servers for efficient service and guest satisfaction. 
• Ensure front-of-house cleanliness, including tables, chairs, floors, windows, restrooms, and service areas. 
• Refill drinks as needed and restock dining room and bar supplies. 
• Prepare beverages for service and assist servers as needed. 
• Clear tables between courses, replace dishes, and clean/reset vacated tables. 
• Return dirty dishes to the dishwashing area. 
• Take ownership of and resolve issues promptly. 
• Leave the establishment crumb-free and food-free at closing. 

Required Skills Server Assistant Qualifications

• Some high school education required 
• No previous food service experience required 
• Must be able to stand and exert fast-paced mobility for periods of up to six hours in length, and to lift, bend and stoop 
• Must have the ability to frequently lift and carry bus tubs, trays, and other objects weighing 25 pounds or more
