About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and adaptable Sub-Investigator (NP or PA) to join a top, dynamic clinical research team. This role is ideal for a bilingual healthcare professional (Spanish/English) with a passion for patient care and an interest in advancing medical research. You will work closely with the Principal Investigator (PI), clinical staff, and patients to ensure the successful conduct of clinical trials by GCP and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a Sub-Investigator for assigned clinical trials, performing delegated medical assessments and ensuring protocol adherence.
• Conduct and document basic physical exams, medical history intake, and other clinical evaluations.
• Collaborate with the Principal Investigator and Clinical Research Coordinators to monitor patient safety, protocol compliance, and data integrity.
• Assist in patient recruitment and education, including pre-screening and informed consent processes.
• Support general site operations and tasks as needed, including occasionally assisting with CRC duties or administrative tasks.
• Provide medical oversight during study visits and contribute to adverse event assessment and reporting.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic and paper source records.
• Participate in site monitoring visits, audits, and staff meetings.

Qualifications

• Licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) in good standing.
• Clinical practice experience.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, start-up environment with a willingness to take on diverse responsibilities.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) candidates are strongly preferred due to our primarily Spanish-speaking patient population.
