Appliance And Refrigeration Repair Technician

As an appliance repair technician at Appliance Tec, you will be crucial in ensuring the quality and efficiency of maintenance and repairing appliances and other equipment. You will also identify opportunities to develop new customer relationships by offering additional services. Upholding our values, you will show respect and courtesy to all customers and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately diagnose and repair home appliances
• Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction
• Ability to communicate effectively - with customers, tech support, dispatch routing, and management
• Ability to make decisions in a timely fashion
• Ability to work both independently and in a team
• Basic Computer Skills and iPad working knowledge
• Technical/Mechanical Aptitude
• Dispatch from your home to customer locations to repair residential home appliances
• Process transactions related to in-home repairs
• Collect payments, issue receipts, and electronically process repair records, customer data, and technical information via a company-issued tablet or laptop.

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of direct appliance repair experience (No experience? Apply for our apprentice position!)
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Proficiency with tablet-based technology
• Ability to safely lift 50 pounds repeatedly and up to 100 pounds occasionally without assistance
• Capability to perform strenuous work under varied conditions
• Flexible hours (no weekends)
• Complete set of standard industry tools (specific specialty tools are provided)

Compensation: $50,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
